Organizers estimate that around 2 million people from across the nation’s five provinces took the opportunity to gather on the roadside and watch the various cyclists from 14 teams participate in the 5th edition of the Tour of Rwanda, reports AFP.
“I see the passage of cyclists every year,” said Eugene Nyuruhurwe, an avid fan. “I know some riders on the national team, and am proud that Rwanda is organizing an international race.”
